Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • Pass a criminal background check

  • Pass an abuse registry check

  • Complete a 40-hour self-paced training

  • Pass an initial competency assessment conducted by a licensed BCBA

  • Submit required documentation to the BACB

  • Receive approval to sit for the RBT certification exam (85 questions, 90 minutes)

***Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work one-on-one with children and families to help develop meaningful skills and decrease challenging behaviors.
They follow individualized treatment plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and carefully monitor each child’s progress.

RBTs work under the ongoing guidance of a licensed BCBA and receive focused supervision every week to ensure your child’s program is implemented accurately and consistently.
Our Behavior Technicians and RBTs are supported and supervised by experienced ABA Program Supervisors, BCaBAs, and BCBAs to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
